Reality star Kristin Cavallari and her husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, have cut the price of their enormous estate in Nashville, TN. The huge property landed on the market in June 2018 for $7.9 million.
However, the posh place seen on their reality show “Very Cavallari” didn’t find a buyer, and now, over a year later, the couple has discounted the mansion. It’s now available for $5.75 million—a 27% discount off the initial list price.
The duo picked up the Mediterranean-style villa in 2012 for $5.3 million. They’re clearly motivated sellers, having since moved on to another home in Nashville.
The new place they purchased in April last year for $4.23 million has also been showcased on their reality show and features 10,000 square feet of living space on 10 acres. With a chicken coop, stables, and a goat barn, it’s a dream property for a family with three kids.
As for the place they’re still trying to sell, it’s no slouch in the “dream home” department. Built in 2007, the enormous estate measures in at just under 20,000 square feet. Sitting on 8.5 wooded acres, the property offers privacy and views of the surrounding hills.
The layout has 25 rooms, which include seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms. Along with a formal living room with a beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace, there’s a family room, and an enormous kitchen with two islands.
The space also includes a library with built-in shelving, a formal dining room, a home theater, and a rec room with a bar. The spacious master suite includes a fireplace as well as a luxurious spa bath with dual vanities.
Outdoors, the acreage includes a covered dining and lounging area and grassy lawns.
Cavallari’s reality show on E! follows the ups and downs of her life and business, Uncommon James. Cutler played quarterback in the NFL for 12 seasons, primarily for the Chicago Bears.
