It’s easy to recognize an El Moussa renovation once you know what to look for. His interiors feature cool, modern color palettes with an eye-popping element to grab your attention—most often a custom tiled backsplash or fireplace.
We scoured listings in Southern California and found five of his flips currently for sale. All of the homes were handpicked by El Moussa and his listing agent, Adam Lindholm. They look for homes in solid neighborhoods and attempt to create something a cut above the rest of the properties in the area.
“Our company philosophy is to bump up the quality into the next price point so we have a product that is different than all of the other flips,” Lindholm says. “Higher quality and better-looking sets us apart and gets our homes sold faster.”
When buyers know El Moussa is responsible for the renovations, they feel confident that corners weren’t cut during the remodel to save money, Lindholm adds.
“We take pride in delivering a quality product to people that are buying our homes,” he says. “For most people, the purchase of a home is the biggest investment they will ever make. We want that investment to be a good choice for them and for them to be happy for many years to come.”

Yorba Linda lights: Filled with natural light by day and views of city lights at night, this roomy rehab has been featured on El Moussa’s Instagram account. This isn’t a huge surprise given the gorgeous blue herringbone-patterned tile in the kitchen, the geometric shower tile in the bathroom, and a luminous herringbone-patterned wall tile surrounding the fireplace. Wherever you look, there’s no shortage of photogenic angles throughout this three-bedroom home.
Dana Point dream: Built in 1979 and brought straight into 2019, this four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home has a new kitchen, bathrooms, roof, and AC system. El Moussa also added some signature flourishes, including the striking black lacquered front door that appears in many of the homes El Moussa flips. The kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace mantel all feature his signature custom tile work, and a freshly landscaped backyard offers a spot to sit back and soak it all in.
Lovely in Long Beach: This beach beauty was built in 1949 and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,400 square feet of living space. According to Lindholm, the home’s den was demolished to make way for a bedroom suite with a huge bathroom and closet.
“The transformation is incredible. You’d never know what it was before,” he says.
El Moussa transformed the rest of the interior space with custom tile work, new kitchen cabinets, and new bathrooms with bronze fixtures and new vanities. The distressed laminate floors and the backyard landscaping are also new.
Irvine inspiration: This two-bedroom condo has a new, open kitchen and a large concrete patio out back, making it an ideal space for entertaining. El Moussa kept the ’70s-era brick exterior, while giving the interiors a cool, modern makeover, thanks to new floors and custom tile work.
Oceanside overhaul: Built in 2001, this three-bedroom home now boasts an open, airy layout. The kitchen features new white cabinets, El Moussa’s signature custom backsplash, and new fixtures. A large grassy area out back makes this a great residence for kids.
