Former NFL wide receiver Pierre Garçon is looking to catch a buyer for his San Jose, CA, penthouse. The posh pad was just listed for $1,788,000.
The pass catcher is ready to move on from the San Francisco Bay Area after a two-year stint with the San Francisco 49ers. The team declined to pick up his contract option following a couple of injury-plagued seasons. The free agent is enjoying life in South Florida, and adjusting his property portfolio.
The place he’s parting with is located on the 22nd floor of the Axis high-rise in downtown San Jose. The luxe unit offers 180-degree views of the skyline, as well as gorgeous sunset views from the 32-foot-long balcony.
Inside, there are high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and wood floors. The open living and dining space looks out to the terrace. The kitchen features sapele wood cabinetry, a slab-stone island, and high-end appliances.
The 1,262-square-foot layout includes two bedrooms and two baths. The master suite has an “executive” wardrobe system, as well as a bath with travertine flooring. The second bedroom is currently staged as an office.
Other perks include Nest temperature control and a walk-in laundry.
Residents of the tower enjoy 24/7 concierge service, a fitness room, heated pool, and reserved parking on the main level. The tower is in walking distance to San Pedro Square, the SAP Center, a Whole Foods store, light rail, and the upcoming Google Village.
Now 33, Garcon began his pro career in 2008 with the Indianapolis Colts as a sixth-round draft pick. He spent four years with Indy, before joining the Redskins. In 2018, he was placed on injured reserve for the second year in a row after undergoing knee surgery.
Although he never officially announced his retirement, Garcon didn’t sign a deal for the current NFL season. He caught 628 passes for over 7,800 yards and 38 touchdowns over the course of his NFL career.
